The Lonesome Polecat Band, a group of seasoned musicians, formed in 2019 to back relative newcomer, Keith Alan Barnett. The first Release, Three Days Out of Gerlach, has been well received as a single with the complete album of the same name following shortly thereafter. The band on the album consists of Jim Park on pedal steel guitar, Lou Werlinger on drums, Michael Holliday on electric guitar, and Ned Chaney playing bass and sometimes taking a turn on lead vocals. Ned is also the writer of several of our songs. While Ned and Lou remain the foundation of the band, Mary Berge currently provides the licks on lead guitar.
